Chark Kungen
Delicatessen at Heliosgatan 30 in Luma stocking European charcuterie, artisan cheese and Balkan specialities, with chilled mail order across Sweden.
About
Two food-obsessed founders opened this delicatessen at Heliosgatan 30 and filled it with cured meats, cheese and preserves from European producers. The range is picked and tasted before anything reaches a shelf, and every order is packed by hand, with no central warehouse behind it. Charcuterie and cheese are sold over the counter in the shop; the rest can be ordered for delivery. Shelves carry Italian prosciutto, salami and pancetta, cheeses running from creamy brie to aged hard varieties, and Balkan goods such as kulen, pršut and ajvar. Priced items include pitted Gordal Picante olives from Bernal at 55 kr, fried marcona almonds from Almondeli at 99 kr, and sardines in olive oil from Conservas Ortiz at 99 kr. Chilled goods ship nationwide, with postage waived above 199 kr. The shop publishes no opening hours on its website.
