Fix my Bike opened in April 2010 and is run by Yoann, who moved to Sweden in 2008, together with Laurent. The workshop at Lugnets allé 55 in Sjöstan takes bikes in Monday to Thursday 10:00–18:00 and Friday 10:00–16:00, closing for lunch 13:00–14:00. Weekends and public holidays are shut. The service package costs 795 kronor and covers a safety check, chain lubrication, fault-finding and adjustment of gears, brakes, headset and bottom bracket. It is 895 kronor for a Brompton and 995 for a mountain bike. A puncture including the tube runs to 400 kronor and a seasonal tyre change 300 a wheel. Wheel truing costs 500 kronor and other work 1,000 kronor an hour. The shop sells Kona, Orbea and Brompton and sticks to mountain, gravel, hybrid and folding bikes rather than road racers. Appointments are made by phone or email, and the current waiting time is posted on the front page.
