A gin bar and an Asian kitchen share the room at Heliosgången 18. The bar holds close to four hundred gins from around the world and more than two hundred tonics, and the house spirit, Copper Club Gin, reaches Systembolaget in Lime, Raspberry and Tropical Fruits editions. In the gin lab, guests compose and distil a recipe of their own under staff guidance, something the venue claims to have brought to Sweden first. Head chef Pramot Bangyikhan trained in Bangkok, and the sushi counter is run by Thaweechai Phaoji, who came by way of Råkultur, Aki and Indio Kitchen. Dishes arrive in small portions: tempura prawns at 125 kr, a red curry with cod at 170 kr, krapow pizza at 140 kr, honey-glazed bonchon chicken at 145 kr, pad thai at 255 kr, and a 250-gram black angus entrecôte at 395 kr. The seven-course tasting runs to 565 kr a head. Tables are booked through Bokabord.
