About
Torkhusgatan 3 is the second of Magnus Johansson's two shops, trading in ice cream and sweets rather than bread. Ice cream and soft serve come freshly made, in flavours that turn with the season, and the confectionery is picked and wrapped for you at the counter instead of scooped from pick-and-mix bins. Since 1 September the shop has kept autumn hours: Friday 11:00–18:00, Saturday and Sunday 11:00–17:00. From 1 October to 26 November it closes altogether, and it reopens on 27 November in time for the first weekend of Advent, trading Thursday to Sunday from then on. The boxes of pralines are also sold at the bakery on Lugnets Allé 7. The shop is cashless and shares its phone number, 08-791 90 21, with the bakery. The Tvärbanan light rail runs from Gullmarsplan to Sickla kaj, where bus 74 from Skanstull also stops, and bus 71 from Slussen serves Båtbyggargatan — directions taken from the shop's own page. The range continues in the company web shop with pralines, chocolate and confectionery, and the bakery stands a few blocks away in Sjöstan.
