This branch of Stockholm City Library at Ljusslingan 26 was staffed 10:00–17:00 on the day its page was read, with self-service access from 08:00 to 21:00. That arrangement, called meröppet, lets a registered library card open the door when no staff are present. Access is arranged in person during staffed hours: anyone over 18 brings photo ID and a library card, goes through the terms, and afterwards signs in with card and PIN. The programme on 31 August 2026 included a genealogy session for adults from 12:30 to 15:00 and a gathering for new parents. Self-service runs 10:00–16:00 on Midsummer Eve, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, and the building shuts entirely on Midsummer Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
